In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive patrols, vigilant surveillance, and swift response to incidents. Your expertise in law enforcement principles, security procedures, and criminal law will be essential in safeguarding our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with leadership qualities and a commitment to protecting others to make a meaningful impact every day. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems to observe activity and respond promptly to suspicious behavior or incidents Write detailed reports on security breaches, incidents, or unusual activities, ensuring accuracy and clarity for future reference Perform background checks on visitors, vendors, or contractors as part of access control procedures Enforce security policies by verifying identification and credentials of personnel entering the premises Respond swiftly to emergencies by providing first aid (CPR certified), coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Lead security team members during shifts, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to protocols Qualifications Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles with a strong understanding of criminal law and security practices Demonstrated ability to perform thorough report writing with attention to detail Experience conducting background checks and screening procedures for visitors or staff Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage team members effectively during shifts Knowledge of security systems, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Must have a valid permit for exposed firearm and guard card.
