Their duties include monitoring a specific area, evicting trespassers and writing reports detailing any occurrences during their shift. The overall duty of a security guard is to protect a company's property, employees and visitors. Functional Responsibility This is a Part-time role on Saturday and Sundays from 12:00am-8:30am (16 hours a week) Essential Duties Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company's premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols . Logging in and out trucks, sending them to their docks and checking their seals on their way out 7 point inspection on trucks Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities Providing detailed reports to management on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner Calls police or fire departments in case of emergency, such as a fire or presence of unauthorized persons Performing CPR or first aid when needed Other duties may be assigned Non-Essential Duties Other duties may be assigned Work Standards Acts in a manner reflective of the Company culture of High Moral Standards, Innovation and Continuous Evolution, Trust in Team, Continuous Improvement, and Sustainable Relationships Communicates, interacts, and works effectively with others; receptive to feedback and coaching; voices concerns in a constructive manner Demonstrates commitment to safety first; communicates safety concerns; promotes a safe work environment based on established safety standards and training Follows all Company policies and procedures Additional Comments Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.

This is a Non-Exempt position. The pay range for this position is $16.50 to $25.70. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.
