AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to control access, assist with visitor direction, and/or support orderly movement throughout the location. Support healthcare staff during routine and unexpected situations by providing a visible presence, reporting security-related concerns, and following post orders and emergency protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
Proof of required vaccines is required for this hospital assignment. Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
