Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Night Security Officer to safeguard our clients premises during overnight hours. In this vital role, you will be the first line of defense, ensuring the safety and security of our property, staff, and visitors. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent incidents, respond swiftly to emergencies, and maintain a secure environment throughout the night. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a safe and secure community while working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Duties Monitor all entrances, exits, and perimeter areas by working the front desk. Conduct regular patrols of the premises on foot or via vehicle to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents with appropriate action and communication with emergency services when necessary Maintain detailed logs of nightly activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes Enforce security policies by verifying identification and access permissions for staff, visitors, and contractors Provide first aid or CPR in emergency situations until professional medical help arrives Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is required; willingness to obtain if not already certified Reliable and punctual Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail Excellent conflict management skills with a focus on de-escalation techniques Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods during overnight shifts Join us as a Night Security Officer and be part of a committed team dedicated to maintaining safety around the clock.
