Unarmed Security Guard

Job Summary Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This involves one day at one site and the other 4 days at a nearby site.

Schedule:

Sunday 0600-1430 (in Fremont) and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 0800-1630 (in Newark) The officer will be on foot patrol, preventing unauthorized access and responding effectively to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent conflict-management abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for staff and visitors. Prior security experience is a must.

Guard Card (Required) Shift availability: Day Shift (Required) Swing Shift (Required) Grave Shift (Required) Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other unlawful activities Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, Document incidents accurately through detailed reports, and maintain logs of daily activities Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as needed Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious behavior Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during incidents or investigations Skills Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail Excellent conflict management and de-escalation abilities Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Effective communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately For further information and job screening, call 800-343-1901 and ask to speak with a Recruiter.
