AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support controlled entry procedures in accordance with site protocols and applicable post orders. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location, follow all armed post responsibilities, and complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Possess an armed guard card/license. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
