IMMEDIATE HIRE

Location:

VA Medical Center in Palo Alto, CA.

Hours of work:

Morning, Evening, overnight, Weekends, or Holidays .

Requirements:

Must have a current Guard Card for California High School graduate or equivalent 21 or older Pass a background check Have reliable transportation. Customer service experience Must be able to stand or walk for at least 6 hours. Be able to lift 25lbs at any given time

Job Description:

At 365 Facilitators we are looking for reliable and competent Security Officers with a professional disposition and appearance to control and maintain a safe environment while providing protection and excellent customer service at the Palo Alto VA Hospital to our Veterans. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, or any other criminal activity. Our security officers must be well-trained in surveillance and de-escalation when dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will demonstrate disciplined attendance, confidence, respect, and authority, as well as possess a high level of both attention to detail and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol on foot randomly or regularly within the building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
