In this vital role, you will monitor access points, conduct patrols, and utilize surveillance technology to maintain a secure environment. Your dedication ensures the safety of everyone on site while upholding company policies and procedures. Responsibilities Monitor entrances and exits to authorize authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors, ensuring proper identification and clearance Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee all activity within the facility and surrounding areas Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed Manage conflict situations with professionalism using conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense scenarios Perform first aid and CPR when necessary, providing immediate assistance in medical emergencies until professional help arrives Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for reporting purposes Requirements Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention strategies Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining alertness during shifts Familiarity with security protocols and procedures relevant to safeguarding property and personnel Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency responders Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive!
