SHIFT Job Description :
The selected candidate will be responsible for checking tractor trailers in and out of the facility, verifying bills of lading, ensuring trailers are empty when required, and preventing unauthorized vehicles from entering the yard. The associate must be able to work in all weather conditions and use a desktop computer to correct errors and process driver check-ins and check-outs. Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities. Manage conflicts professionally and de-escalate situations as necessary. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or emergencies. Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for future reference. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism risks. Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred. worked Logging in turcks at gate Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and monitoring procedures. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, employees, and law enforcement personnel. A background in military service is a plus but not mandatory.
