Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Roseville, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal officer in a busy retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. You will contribute to daily operations by observing activity, reporting concerns, and working as part of a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document relevant details according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts. Support loss prevention and property protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with crowd management, and following post orders for opening, closing, and high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
