Event Security Officer

Position Overview :

We are seeking professional and reliable Event Security Officers to support site operations focused on safety, access control, and guest experience. This role requires strong situational awareness, customer service skills, and the ability to respond effectively in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct bag checks and wanding in accordance with site security protocols Monitor entry and exit points to ensure proper egress flow and crowd control Perform hourly foot patrols inside and outside the venue, maintaining detailed activity reports Provide a visible security presence to deter incidents and ensure safety Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts and maintain a calm environment Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and event staff Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns

Schedule :

Friday & Saturday:

7:00 PM

• 3:30 AM Sunday

• Thursday:

  8:00 PM
• 2:30 AM Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Requirements :

Valid Guard Card (or state-required licensing) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Previous event security or crowd control experience preferred Ability to stand/walk for extended periods Reliable transportation and punctuality

Preferred Skills :

Experience with events or venues Knowledge of emergency procedures and evacuation protocols Report writing and documentation experience
