Job Description
Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing unauthorized access, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property. This role is essential in safeguarding assets and maintaining a secure atmosphere for all occupants. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security roles is highly valued, along with certifications in first aid and CPR. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or other security breaches Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, providing appropriate action including first aid or CPR if necessary Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills to de-escalate potential issues Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation of daily activities or security breaches Control access points by verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes as needed Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and intervening in suspicious activities Experience Previous experience in security or related fields is preferred Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are highly desirable Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques is advantageous Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively Strong observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring premises and identifying potential threats
