Security (Armed Event) (ODO and CCW)

Armed ODO personnel who carry a CCW and can work Car Week Events in Monterey County. These events will be taking place starting in the second week of August.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly responsible and vigilant Armed Event Security Officer with a valid Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property during events. The ideal candidate will possess excellent judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. REQUIRES

possession of a state Guard Card, Exposed Firearm Permit, and CCW Permit Applicants need to have all at the time of application to be considered Applicants must be current or former law enforcement Our team is looking for individuals who are dependable, optimistic, problem solvers who lead by example Overview of Duties and Physical Requirements Provide security services at event sites Serve as a visible security presence at client locations Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports, as needed Collaboration with local law enforcement agencies when necessary Provide customer service driven, professional security services Continuous physical effort that requires prolonged periods of walking, standing Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds Other duties as assigned Education and Certification Requirements Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent Possession of state Guard Card Possession of state Exposed Firearm Permit Possession of CCW Permit Possession of a valid Driver's License Other Must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide documentation showing authorization to work in the U.S. Employment is conditioned on successful completion of background check If prior military, must provide DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer
