The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are addressed promptly and effectively. Security Duties include, but are not limited to: Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees and customers to maintain security of premises. Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate surveillance equipment to monitor activities within the facility. Respond promptly Document incidents and prepare reports on security breaches or unusual occurrences. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security issues or investigations. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations when required. Flexible schedule Requirements Previous experience in security 3 - 5 years, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of surveillance systems and their operation is essential. Email correspondence. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in identifying potential security risks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must possess a valid security guard license or be willing to obtain one prior to employment.
