Security Guard Reports To:
General Manager As a member of the management team, the On-premise Security Guard personnel works directly with the restaurant management team in the overall security operations of the restaurant. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Security Guard personnel acts as store leader in managing the safety, security and crowd countrol functional areas of the restaurant along with the management team of the restaurant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Leads Crew Team- Leads and directs the Safety and Security Operations functions of the restaurant in conjuntion with restaurant management personnel.
- Partners with General Manager to coach, counsel and direct Crew Members on Safety and Security practices.
- Ensures a positive team environment and maintains a calm professional demeanor at all times as they are representing the Brand to the public.
- Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely, and respectful coaching and feedback to Crew Member to ensure operational excellence and to improve Crew performance related to Safety and Security practices.
- Leads Service Excellence
- Ensures "I Love It Here" experience for every guest
- Ensure standards are consistently met for speed of service, order accuracy, product quality, and store cleanliness
- Handles guest-related problem resolution with composure while living The Melt values.
- Inspires, motivates, and coaches Crew Members to their very best performance. Leads Profitable Operations
- Executes safety and security related opening and closing duties - opening shift, shift change, and closing shift procedures as necessary.
- Follows all health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Manages to shift schedule and utilizes deployment tools to maximize shift performance.
- Ensures compliance with cash management and cash register policies and ensures all Crew always follow policies and procedures. Qualifications Qualifications
- Must be Happy and Positive with a collaborative leadership style
- Must have at least 1-2 years of Restaurant Management experience within The Fast Casual, QSR or Mid-Scale Casual Dining segment.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to learn quickly and the leadership skills to build and be part of a team
- Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have exceptional work ethic
- Must be 16 to apply
- Must be available to work 40-50 hours per week, including weekends.
