AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, and restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading and unloading areas, trailer lots, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location. Support day-to-day logistics and distribution operations by communicating with staff and/or visitors, maintaining accurate access records, and following post orders for deliveries, pickups, and after-hours activity.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Access control and badge experience is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
