Job Description
We are seeking dependable, professional, and customer-focused Unarmed Retail Security Guards to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and property while delivering excellent customer service. Guards will monitor the premises, deter theft and suspicious activity, respond to incidents, and provide a visible security presence. Responsibilities Patrol assigned retail locations on foot to maintain a secure environment. Monitor customer and employee activity to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security concerns. Observe and report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, and policy violations. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns. Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports. Control access to restricted areas when required. Work closely with store management and law enforcement when necessary. Provide courteous assistance and exceptional customer service to shoppers and staff. Enforce company policies and security procedures professionally. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid state-issued Guard Card (required if applicable). Previous retail security, customer service, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure. Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Must pass a background check and any required pre-employment screening.
