Armed Security Officer

FULL-TIME/ PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE THIS JOB REQUIRES 12 HOUR SHIFTS, DAYS/NIGHTS

Job Summary Join our dynamic security team as an Armed Security Officer for a private client. You will be responsible for monitoring premises through CCTV systems, conducting patrols, and responding swiftly to incidents with professionalism and confidence. Your commitment to safety and security will be vital in protecting and ensuring peace of mind of everyone on site. Duties Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure continuous site security. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or safety hazards. Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders. Manage conflict situations with tact and professionalism, de-escalating disputes and maintaining order. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records to document all activities accurately. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields. Valid certification in first aid and CPR (preferred); additional certifications in surveillance or CCTV operation are a plus. Strong understanding of conflict management techniques and law enforcement procedures. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively while maintaining professionalism. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and surveillance activities. Physical fitness to stand, walk, or respond swiftly across large facilities for extended periods.
