Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Clearance Required in Santa Rosa, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer in a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry points, visitor traffic, and/or credential checks in support of site protocols, while communicating clearly with staff and guests regarding security-related procedures. Support incident reporting, shift activity logs, and/or communication with local responders when needed, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
