This role supports high-end events where professionalism, hospitality, and guest safety are top priorities. You will work as part of a team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and vendors.

Schedule:
Part-time, weekend-based Hours vary depending on events (day, evening, and overnight shifts possible)
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized access Conduct regular patrols of event spaces, parking areas, and venue grounds Ensure safety of guests, staff, and team members at all times Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or disturbances Assist guests and maintain a high level of customer service Report safety concerns or incidents to management immediately Work closely with Security Supervisor and venue staff Support overall event flow and venue operations as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of hospitality, event, or venue security experience (required) Valid California Guard Card (required) Professional appearance and demeanor (black suit required) Reliable transportation to travel between event locations (required) Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional under pressure Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Hospitality-driven mindset and strong communication skills
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have reliable transportation to travel between event locations (San Clemente and Silverado)? Are you available to work weekend-based shifts, including day, evening, and overnight hours if needed? Do you currently own a professional black suit suitable for security/event work, and are you able to wear it during all shifts? Have you previously worked security at weddings, private events, or special occasions?
Experience:
hospitality security, event security, or venue security: 1 year (Required)
