Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed while providing excellent customer service. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure security measures are in place. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide assistance during investigations. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities and gather evidence when required. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property. Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management skills to de-escalate situations peacefully. Skills Proficiency in first aid and CPR is highly desirable for emergency situations. Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus. Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and security systems including CCTV operation. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and practices within a security context. Strong observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security risks. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, providing excellent customer service while enforcing rules and regulations.
