PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public sector personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations. Support an armed patrol post by maintaining readiness with assigned equipment, following post orders, and documenting security-related activities, observations, and/or incidents. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces to help address access concerns, provide directions, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or suspicious activity concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid firearms permit is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
