Position Overview Tacon 1 is seeking dependable and professional Security Officers for both part-time and full-time positions. This role is responsible for maintaining a secure environment through visible deterrence, proactive observation, and accurate reporting. This position is ideal for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining composure in dynamic situations. Key Responsibilities Provide a visible security presence to deter criminal activity Conduct routine patrols of assigned sites (interior and exterior) Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activity Perform asset protection duties as assigned Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts when necessary Maintain situational awareness at all times Communicate effectively with management, clients, and local law enforcement when needed Qualifications Must have a clean background Must be able to pass a drug screening Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred (not required) Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to perform routine patrols in various environments Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift Additional Requirements Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times Must be willing to travel to different job sites as needed Must be able to follow post orders and company procedures What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and position Flexible scheduling (part-time and full-time availability) Opportunity for advancement within a growing company Exposure to a wide range of security environments and clients Why Tacon 1 At Tacon 1, you are not just filling a position—you are joining a team that values professionalism, accountability, and growth.
