As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Englewood, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions related to equipment areas, entry points, and restricted spaces. Monitor entrances, badge activity, and visitor movement while documenting security-related events, daily activities, and observed concerns in accordance with post instructions. Support emergency response activities and business continuity efforts by following outlined procedures, assisting with controlled access, and reporting maintenance and/or operational issues that may affect the location.
Minimum Requirements:
CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
