Denver Metro Area Wage:
$20.47/HR $23.18/HR After 6 Months $23.67/HR After 1 Year Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving advanced training in safety and security. You will become certified in CPR-AED, Trauma care, X-ray imaging in threat detections, De-escalation techniques and use of force to mention just a few. These positions require a high level of customer service and professionalism with the ability to work under pressure. While prior security experience is highly preferred, we are willing to train the right candidates. Applicants must have availability from 7AM - 11PM, schedules will be provided a week in advance.
Description:
This position will be a guaranteed 40 hours per week, with two consecutive days off. This position will give you the opportunity to learn and train at multiple locations within an area. Benefits include Kaiser medical plan, both PTO and sick time as well as a free Eco pass.

What You Can Expect:
Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances, and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons. Work directly with law enforcement, government staffing, and the community. Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues. Security screen all persons coming through the public entrance to ensure prohibited items are not entering facilities. Monitor surveillance cameras. Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
Basic Requirements:
18 years of age or older. High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months. Standard computer / technology skills needed - The ability to utilize a tablet, computer, or smartphone. Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner. Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift. Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation. All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Must have reliable transportation. Must have the legal right to work in the United States. Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. Must have reliable means of communication. Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus. Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers.
