SECURITY GUARD SUPERVISOR

Description General Description:

R esponsible for managing a secure entrance and perimeter for the facility Learn all th e jobs of your immediate staff Ensure completion and accurac y of reports done by staff Complete daily and weekly reports as nee ded Supervise, train, and evaluate performance of staff; implement disciplin ary procedures when necessary. Resolve employee's conflicts and is sues promptly and objectively. Direct communication with company and outside services Work in the Orde r Management System/Shop Floor Work with the Plant Shipping/Shag Service/Traffic Work with the Traffic Department to coordinate shippi ng date, times, and locations Maintain logs f or inbound and outbound trucks Att end meetings as scheduled Reports to Safety Manager Other duties as assigned Required skills: Previous security related experien ce preferred but not required Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required 10-key a nd computer skills required Ability to handle conflict Ability to thi nk critically and problem solve Attention to de tail and ability to multi-task Communication skills—written and verbal Ability to speak multiple languages is prefe rred but not required Self-starter and Team player Strong leadership / management skills Must be able to demo nstrate effective people skills Reliable attendance record Must be able to pass a

Background Check Working Conditions:

Must be able to work in security guard shacks, security vehi cles in hot and cold conditions Must be able to work ou tside in all weather conditions Must be able to walk, run, sit and sta nd for extended periods of time Lift up to 50lbs. sick leave, vacation and 6 company observed holidays. 401(k) : company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule Base salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 depending on scheduling level Incentive pay This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in states where it is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for any given position, compensation ranges are specific to those states and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
