Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer - Registration Specialist to join our Security Team. This dual-role position plays a critical part in maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors while also supporting timely and accurate patient registration. This position is scheduled to work PRN, on call as needed. You will be eligible for an 8% pay differential. Discover Your Career in the Heart of the Rockies! What You'll Do:
Respond promptly and on-site to identified security risks or threats within the hospital and Outpatient Pavilion. Make regular rounds to include the exterior to insure our safety. De-escalate patients in crisis or those exhibiting aggressive or disruptive behavior. Maintain a high-visibility presence to promote safety and deter potential threats. Manage emergency or crisis situations calmly and effectively in collaboration with clinical and administrative teams.
Registration & Customer Service Responsibilities:
Greet patients, visitors, physicians, and staff in a friendly and professional manner; provide assistance as needed. Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously; route calls accurately and take detailed messages when necessary. Demonstrate proficiency in CPSI registration system for accurate and efficient patient intake. Collect, scan, and verify insurance information and related documentation. Obtain appropriate signed consents for all services rendered, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards. Ready to bring your passion and teamwork to our hospital? CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must maintain current BLS certification. HRRMC offered de-escalation Training within 3 months of hire. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Law Enforcement or Hospital Security experience required. Customer Service preferably in a hospital, medical or physician office preferred.
