$24.49 per hour Position Summary We are seeking a professional and reliable Armed Security Officer to join our team in Bridgeport, CT. The ideal candidate will maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, enforcing policies, and responding to incidents as needed. This role requires a high level of integrity, situational awareness, and the ability to work a rotating schedule.

Schedule Rotating shifts:

0800 - 1600 (Day Shift) 1600 - 0000 (Evening Shift) Flexibility required, including weekends and holidays as needed Key Responsibilities Provide armed security presence and patrol assigned areas Monitor access control points and verify credentials Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding property Complete accurate reports and incident documentation Enforce company policies and procedures De-escalate conflicts and handle situations professionally Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Prior armed security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm under pressure CT Pistol Permit Additional Requirements Must pass background check and drug screening Must be physically able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods Firearms proficiency and safety training required Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime if needed Armed Security Officer We help make your world a safer place.
