Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. A valid Connecticut Guard Card is required. No applications will be considered without a current guard card. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. We are hiring for full or part time, but must be available for Saturday evenings. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the property Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities and ensure safety protocols are followed. Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations related to security breaches or incidents. Implement conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations. Responsible for securing and opening up the facility. Experience A valid CT Guard Card is required Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is advantageous. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail Previous security experience preferred but not required, but a valid CT Guard Card is required.
