Security Officer Brass Mill Center

Key Responsibilities :
- Enforce and comply with company policies, post orders and Management instructions.
- Patrol mall premises (interior and exterior) and maintain high visibility to deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to ensure safety and compliance with mall regulations.
- Enforce mall rules to maintain order and prevent disruptions.
- Provide access, directions, and assistance to visitors and tenants in a courteous manner.
- Write detailed incident reports and daily activity reports.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, such as medical incidents, fire alarms, or disturbances.
- Submit maintenance/service requests when necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
Qualifications:
- 21 years of age or older.
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid Connecticut State Security Guard license.
- Security officers must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in stressful situations.
- Ability to operate common communications equipment such as 2-way radios, intercom, phones and cell phones.
Working Conditions:
- Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Work is performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Uniform must be worn in accordance with mall security standards for a neat, professional appearance.
