They display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Essential Job Functions:

Protect personnel and property in a professional manner Meet and deal tactfully and politely with general public and visitors Effectively and efficiently screen and process visitors Identify, report, delay or detain persons who violate rules and regulations Conduct internal and external roving foot patrols Complete all reports and paperwork as required Provide first aid, CPR and assist during emergencies as necessary Be fully familiar with building layout, floor plans, manual fire alarm locations, fire extinguisher locations, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) locations, emergency routes, and evacuation assembly points; Remain on post until properly relived and pass all information relevant to the post to the relieving Security Officer; Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age US Citizen with a valid social security card Must possess a minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent Must be available to work a flexible schedule Possess at least once of the following experience /education criteria: LEOSA Certified Abilities Required Must possess the visual acuity necessary to prepare records and reports and operate a computer terminal (if applicable). Must possess manual dexterity to operate standard office, data entry, and computer equipment (if applicable). Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions. Work is performed inside and outside the property with exposure to inclement weather and unpredictable crisis situations.
