The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, excellent judgment skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. This role requires a high level of responsibility, integrity, and dedication to maintaining a secure environment. Duties Must have am Armed or Unarmed DC SPO License Monitor and patrol assigned areas using surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity. Conduct regular security checks to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing appropriate action and documentation. Enforce security protocols and access controls for personnel and visitors. Assist in conflict management and de-escalation during tense situations. Provide first aid or CPR when necessary until emergency services arrive. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies. Conduct loss prevention activities to safeguard company assets. Requirements Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security is preferred. Valid security guard license and any necessary firearms permits or certifications. Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and monitoring. Excellent observation skills with attention to detail. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally. Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly when needed. Exceptional integrity with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
