In this role, you will ensure the safety and security of all attendees, staff, and vendors while maintaining a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

Position Summary:

Event Security staff are responsible for maintaining a safe, secure environment for guests and staff, including ID verification and general floor monitoring throughout the event.

Responsibilities:

Check IDs at entry points to verify age and admission eligibility Monitor assigned areas (floater role) — bars, entrances, dance floor, outdoor areas as needed Watch for and respond to safety concerns, altercations, or policy violations Enforce venue policies (capacity limits, prohibited items, restricted areas) Communicate with management and other security staff throughout the shift Assist with crowd control during entry, peak hours, and exit

Requirements:

Must be 18+ (21+ preferred for alcohol-related enforcement) Previous security, bouncer, or door experience preferred Comfortable checking IDs and handling high-volume entry Calm, professional demeanor under pressure Strong communication and conflict de-escalation skills Available for varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Dress Code:

All black attire, professional and neat (black shirt/polo, black pants, closed-toe black shoes) No visible logos or branding other than venue-provided gear (if issued)

Pay:

$25.94 - $31.23 per hour
