The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to enforcing safety protocols. The Security Officer will play a critical role in loss prevention and ensuring the integrity of our facilities. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid as necessary. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns. Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations. Experience At least three years of security experience required Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly valued Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure A background in military service is a plus but not required Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Strong observational and communication skills Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work flexible hours We encourage qualified candidates who are committed to ensuring safety and security within our organization to apply for this rewarding position.
