Claymont, Delaware, United States Job Description What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols. Support daily operations by maintaining visible presence, assisting with directions and general questions, and communicating clearly with employees, contractors, visitors, and/or first responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Able to ride a bike. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
