FULL TIME PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER

Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library Public Safety Department is a professional, full-service operation that protects one of the nation's premier museums and historic estates. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our team safeguards priceless collections, historic structures, staff, and guests across nearly 1,000 acres. Public Safety Officers are responsible for emergency response, incident management, communications, access control, and proactive patrol of museum buildings and grounds. The department supports daily operations, special events, and seasonal programming—requiring flexibility, professionalism, and a strong commitment to service at all hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Applicant should have safety and security experience, be First Aid/CPR certified or able to pass within 90 days, flexibility with scheduling and working hours. Please provide a working email!
