What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and/or government location protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working conditions may vary by post assignment and operational needs. Monitor gates, entry points, and designated checkpoints, verifying identification and/or authorization and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries per post orders. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from site contacts and/or emergency services as needed. Complete detailed reports and logs, report maintenance or operational concerns, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience. An armed guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
