Job Description As a Security Officer Access Screening in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, greet residents and guests, verify credentials, and monitor entry points to help deter security-related incidents. You may conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, residential community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, and document deliveries, guest access, and/or contractor arrivals in accordance with location guidelines. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related issues to property management and/or public services when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Communicate clearly with residents, management, and fellow team members regarding access activity, incidents, and/or policy questions while supporting a professional presence at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
