As a Screener with Allied Universal at a government facility location, you will help monitor entry activity, screen visitors and staff, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Perform screening-related duties at designated access points, including reviewing identification, credentials, and/or personal property in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership as needed. Monitor assigned areas and access points for unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or unauthorized entry to help support security-related operations at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
