PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help follow property rules for restricted and sensitive areas. Complete routine reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and relay important updates during shift changes to support ongoing security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements:
A TSA-issued TWIC is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
