In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring the property, preventing unauthorized access, and responding swiftly to any incidents. Your proactive approach will ensure the safety of staff, patients, assets, and the overall facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security expertise in a dynamic setting, contributing to a safe and secure environment around the clock. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the entire property using CCTV surveillance systems and physical inspections to identify potential security breaches or hazards. Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior or unauthorized access. Control access points by verifying identities of staff, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Maintain detailed logs of all activities during the shift, including incident reports, visitor entries, and security checks. Enforce loss prevention protocols by identifying theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action according to company policies. Provide first aid or CPR if required during emergencies and assist in conflict management to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Skills Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong situational awareness. Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and ability to operate monitoring tools efficiently. Certification in first aid and CPR to respond effectively during medical emergencies. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations diplomatically. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security best practices to protect assets and prevent theft. Strong understanding of security procedures, law enforcement protocols, and emergency response procedures.
