Overview Join our dynamic security team as a Security Officer (Unarmed) and play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment. In this energetic position, you will be the frontline guardian, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets through vigilant observation, proactive engagement, and effective incident response. Responsibilities Screen visitors for possible weapons or contraband, prior to providing access to client's property. Conduct stationary patrols and identify potential security risks or hazards, maintaining a visible presence to deter misconduct. Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors; log entries and exits accurately. Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring CPR or first aid assistance. Enforce loss prevention measures by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting any suspicious behavior to appropriate authorities. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records to ensure accurate documentation of daily activities. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to resolve incidents efficiently and professionally. Experience Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras and alarm systems enhances your effectiveness in this role. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to respond confidently during medical emergencies. Strong conflict management skills enable you to de-escalate tense situations calmly and professionally. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies helps protect assets while respecting individual rights. Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high levels of attention to detail is essential. Excellent communication skills are necessary for clear reporting and effective collaboration with team members and emergency responders.
