Part-Time Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and confident Pool Security Officer to maintain a safe, respectful, and controlled environment at a residential/community pool in the Dade City area. This role focuses on enforcing pool rules, preventing disturbances, and ensuring compliance during both open and closed hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor pool area during operating hours to ensure all guests follow community rules Deter unauthorized access and loitering after pool closure Address and de-escalate disruptive or inappropriate behavior professionally Identify individuals violating rules and document names/details when possible Conduct routine patrols of the pool and surrounding areas Utilize checkpoint scanning systems to log presence and patrol activity Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs Communicate clearly with management regarding any ongoing issues or escalations

Requirements:

Must be local to or able to reliably commute to Dade City, FL Prior security experience required (pool/community security preferred) Experience with checkpoint scanning systems and report writing Comfortable enforcing rules and addressing rowdy or non-compliant individuals Strong observation and communication skills Ability to remain calm and professional in confrontational situations Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in residential or HOA security Experience working evening or late-night shifts Conflict de-escalation training is a plus

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate (based on experience starting at $17 per hour) Contract-based opportunity with potential for ongoing assignments

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
