AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel or resort location. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property staff and/or first responders when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, amenities, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe guest and visitor activity, and document incidents, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related concerns according to site protocols. Support a welcoming atmosphere by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and helping to address security-related issues with professionalism and courtesy.
Minimum Requirements:
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
