PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense-related location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through the proper chain of command. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter zones while maintaining awareness of access points, equipment areas, and other sensitive locations. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to controlled areas in accordance with site policies and post orders. Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, maintaining professional bearing and readiness to respond to security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Be at least 21 years of age. Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
