As a Security Officer Patrol Screening in Naples, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff through strong customer service and communication. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and other security-related duties at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or appropriate personnel when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, document daily activity and/or incident details, and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate. A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
