Security Guard Venetian Condominium Fort Lauderdale, FL Job Details From $15 an hour 20 hours ago Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a part-time weekend Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the property, controlling access points, writing patrol reports, and ensuring a secure environment for Venetian Condominium residents and staff. Responsibilities Patrol designated areas regularly to identify potential security risks or breaches. Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises. Control front gate access by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports for record-keeping and review. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Qualifications Strong communication skills. Attention to detail. Organization skills. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to write/maintain patrol logs. Ability to perform physical duties such as patrolling on foot. Experience in security roles is preferred but not required.
