Unarmed Security Guard - HIGH VISIBILITY

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to various situations, and a commitment to upholding security protocols. Position requires the ability to maintain control in high-pressure situations, including physically separating individuals of varying sizes and strength levels if needed , escorting patrons from premises, and carrying security equipment for extended shifts. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security. Conduct regular inspections of premises and report any suspicious activities or incidents. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents requiring security intervention. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Enforce rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized access to facilities. Provide assistance in conflict management and de-escalation of potentially volatile situations. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities when applicable. Skills Proficiency in first aid and CPR, with the ability to respond effectively in emergencies preferred. Knowledge of law enforcement practices and procedures is advantageous. Experience with surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies is a plus. Strong conflict management skills to handle disputes professionally. Familiarity with security protocols and best practices in maintaining safety. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
