In this vital role, you will serve as the first line of defense in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all visitors, team members, and property assets. Responsibilities Monitor access points to control entry and exit for guests, staff, contractors, and vendors using surveillance systems and manual checks Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches Operate CCTV systems (Closed-Circuit Television) to oversee activity across the property and detect suspicious behavior Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies with confidence and professionalism Manage conflict situations with tact and effective conflict management techniques to de-escalate issues Perform loss prevention activities by observing for theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security checks for record-keeping and review Skills Proven ability to handle emergency situations with calmness and clarity, including CPR and first aid certification Strong background in law enforcement, military service, or security roles with relevant experience in surveillance and CCTV operation Excellent conflict management skills combined with a professional demeanor Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and security protocols Ability to work independently while remaining alert during long shifts Familiarity with security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control devices Effective communication skills to coordinate with emergency responders and team members Requirements Valid drivers license Security D license High school diploma or equivalent Experience in security or related field (preferred) Shift availability Day Night Overnight Weekends & holidays Join us as a Security Officer (Sentry) where your dedication will help create a safe environment for everyone.
