AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control and directing individuals according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor for security-related concerns such as trespassing, disorderly conduct, and/or unsecured access points, and report observations and incidents in a timely manner. Support a professional environment by communicating with hospital personnel, visitors, and/or first responders while following post orders and documenting security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required. Required hospital vaccines are required. Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals. A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
